Fireworks worth almost £6,000 have been seized in police operations in Fermanagh at the weekend.
Almost 600 fireworks, valued at about £5,500, were recovered in Derrylin and a smaller number were also seized in Enniskillen.
Police say enquiries into alleged fireworks licensing offences are continuing.
Inspector Roy Robinson said the seizures had continued the robust work of police in tacking fireworks issues in the weeks before Halloween.
"We have been very proactive in tackling issues that in the past have caused a great deal of annoyance and distress to local people," he said.
"Many people enjoy fireworks displays and we are not out to spoil those, but the requirements are very specific, you must have a licence to sell, buy, or possess fireworks. Failure to meet the requirements could lead to the seizure of fireworks and the consequential financial loss.
He added: "Anyone who is considering buying fireworks for a celebration of any kind will find good advice about the requirements at the Northern Ireland Office website."
