No-one was inside the ground floor property at Corrib Avenue when the blaze broke out at around 3.55am on Saturday.

Police believe entry was forced and the building set alight.

Firefighters were called to the scene and the fire was brought under control, however extensive damage was caused. No injuries were reported.

Anyone with more information on the incident has been asked to come forward.
