People who struggled with flooding which transformed roads into rivers in Northern Ireland will give evidence to a special investigation by ministers next month.
The hearings will be held in Fermanagh in January by the cross-departmental task force from the Executive.
Its first meeting was held on Tuesday at Fermanagh council offices in Enniskillen, with the first part of its review to be completed by the end of February.
Floods in November caused major disruption in the county, with families cut off and bridges over the upper lough closed.
The task force will investigate factors which contributed to the flooding and consider how departments could help deal with the aftermath.
A spokesman for the team said: "The meeting provided ministers with the opportunity to hear first-hand from local officials about the challenges they faced in dealing with the flooding as well as getting an update on the current position.
"Ministers paid tribute to the people of Fermanagh for the way they responded as a community to help each other at a very difficult time and contributed to making the impact less than it might otherwise have been."
