Emergency services were called to the scene up a remote laneway at Clones Road at around 6.45am.

Mr Murray, who was 60, was found in his home by firefighters a short time later.

The cause of the fire has not yet been established.

Due to its severity, police believe that it must have been burning for some time.

The PSNI want to hear from anyone who saw the blaze.

"The flames were probably visible from the nearby Clones to Newtownbutler road," a police spokesperson said.

"If you were on that road between 8pm on Saturday and 7am on Sunday, detectives in Enniskillen would like to hear from you."
