The 24-year-old died on Thursday in the Quinn Group concrete plant in Derrylin where he worked, in an incident that is still being investigated.
Mr Maguire played football for his county, and he led Lisnaskea Emmetts to success in the All-Ireland Intermediate Club Championship.
He also played in the Ulster Championship match with Down earlier this year, and GAA clubs from across Co Fermanagh accompanied the funeral procession through Mr Maguire's hometown of Macknagh.
They formed a guard of honour at Holy Cross Chapel, where mass was held in celebration of the footballer's life.
It's hard to believe and even harder to accept that a young man so full of life has gone.

The Fermanagh County Committee has paid tribute to Mr Maguire and extended their sympathies to parents Brian and Eileen, sisters Roisin and Eimear, and the rest of the family circle.
Fermanagh manager Peter Canavan also turned out to pay his respects to Mr Maguire and the wider family.
Lisnaskea Emmetts chairman Collie McCaffrey described as Mr Maguire a "superstar", adding:
"The GAA is like a big family and we'll be getting together tonight with his family and making sure we help them in any way we can over the coming days."
Sports Minister Carál Ní Chuilín paid tribute to Brian Óg Maguire as well as Nevin Spence, his father and brother who lost their lives in a farm accident in Hillsborough.
"The loss of two talented sports players, and also a father and a brother, in such tragic circumstances is a tragedy for both the Spence and Maguire families.
"Nevin and Brian were committed sports players and their untimely deaths are not only a loss to their immediate families, but also to the sporting organisations they represented and to their wider communities.
"Ulster GAA and Ulster Rugby are two of the great provincial sporting codes which unite society. Brian Og and Nevin were wonderful examples for their respective sports," she added.
