Family identify body of missing man

A body found in the search for missing man Alec McKee has been identified by his family.

Mr McKee, who was 56, vanished from the Causeway Hospital in Coleraine on the morning of 23 December.

A man's body was found in an industrial estate close to the Newbridge Road in Coleraine on Sunday.

The family have initially identified the body as that of Alec.

The death is not believed to be suspicious at this stage.

A statement from the PSNI said: "Police investigating the disappearance of Mr McKee would like to offer their condolences to the family".
