Facial injuries in Omagh assault

A man has been taken to hospital for treatment on facial injuries following a serious assault in Omagh.

The 24-year-old was attacked by another man in the Scarffes Entry area of Main Street in the Co Tyrone town on Saturday night.
He suffered a suspected broken nose and an injury to his ear, as well as a number of facial injuries.
The man was taken to hospital for treatment. His condition is not believed to be life threatening.
Anyone who witnessed the attack has been asked to contact the PSNI.
