A petrol bomb was thrown on a house in Enniskillen in the early hours of Sunday morning, police have said.
A number of people were in the property in the Coleshill area at around 2.45am on Sunday when the petrol bomb was thrown, but no-one was injured.
Damage was caused to the front door of the house and the inside was smoke damaged.
Another petrol bomb was found close to a car outside the house but it had not been set alight.
SDLP Fermanagh and South Tyrone MLA Tommy Gallagher has condemned the "cowardly" attack.
He said: "Thankfully, nobody in the family at the house was injured but it was no doubt a frightening experience. There is also no doubt this was a vicious and cowardly attack.
"I appeal to anybody who can help stamp out this behaviour should work with the police and provide any information that may be helpful."
Alliance Chief Whip Kieran McCarthy has also condemned those involved in the early-morning attack.
Kieran McCarthy said: "I am appalled at this despicable attack. It is particularly troubling given that the house was occupied at the time.
"People want a society free from fear and the community will have been shocked and disgusted at this incident. Anyone who can assist police with their investigation into this should contact them immediately."
