An 86-year-old pedestrian is in a critical condition in hospital after a one vehicle crash in Omagh, Co Tyrone.

The collision happened on Woodvale Avenue on Thursday at 11.45am, but details have only just been released.

His condition is described as critical, but stable.

Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision to contact them.
