Jessbrook estate in Co Kildare, which has 50 acres of land, a 3,500-seat arena has been put on the market at a fraction of its valuation at €500,000.
The property was seized nearly 17 years ago when John Gilligan was sentenced to 20 years in Portlaoise Prison for drugs trafficking.
A spokesperson for CAB dismissed rumours that any of the criminal's money was stashed there.
"Speculation has been going on since he went to jail," he said.
He added he would tell any prospective buyer "best of luck" in finding any hidden money.
A legal dispute over the ownership of the house next door to the property is ongoing, which Gilligan is expected to resume when he is released from prison in a few months.
Drawn-out attempts to get his Jessbrook development as well as other land and property have been thrown out of court.
It is believed Gilligan spent 1.5m Irish pounds developing the facility to international standards, although it was never fully completed.
CAB said it was "good" to see the equestrian centre, which will need work to bring it into repair, finally for sale.
"It's a big day for everybody who was involved in both the investigations and the litigation that's gone over the last number of years -16 and a half long years," the spokesperson added.
"It's great to see that it's gone on the market and will hopefully draw a line in the sand."
