The driver of the orange Suzuki SX4 had got out of his vehicle to open gates in the Divis Road area of the city when he was approached by the gang of men.

They punched him before making off in the car, although the man was not seriously injured.

The Suzuki was found on fire in the Mount Alverno area a short time later.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact CID at Woodbourne PSNI station, or to contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
