Dr Eireann Kerr is charged with assaulting a male and female police officer, disorderly behaviour, resisting police and possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.
The 30-year-old from Marlborough Park in Belfast works as a doctor at Altnagelvin Hospital and the charges relate to an incident following a staff night out in Derry city centre in the weeks leading up to Christmas.
A police officer told the court he believes he could connect the defendant to all five charges.
Kerr's defence solicitor said representations are being made in relation to the matter.
Regarding the charge of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place - namely an iPhone - Deputy District Judge Joseph McCrystan said: "It appears we have an app for everything."
Kerr was released on continuing bail and ordered not to be intoxicated in a public place and to submit to a preliminary breath test.
She is scheduled to appear before the court again on 23 January.
