The electricity supply was disrupted on Wednesday morning, causing long queues at the security and check-in sections.
Passengers were advised to check with their airlines before travelling because of the backlogs.
Belfast International Airport tweeted that they were "working hard to rectify" the issue, and shortly after 10am, power was restored.
Although the problem has now been resolved, passengers are being advised to arrive earlier for their flights.
