First Minister Peter Robinson has asked his new ministers to sell the achievements of the devolution to the electorate, following the recent DUP ministerial reshuffle.

Peter Robinson launched his party new ministerial team at Stormont on Thursday.

The DUP team include Junior Minister Robin Newton, Culture Minister Nelson McCausland, Finance Minister Sammy Wilson, Environment Minister Edwin Poots and Enterprise Minister Arlene Foster.

"We're not going to have our ministers stuck in their offices doing the important administration on their own", Mr Robinson said.

"We're going to ensure that all get out and about, and spend a lot of their time connecting with people out there."

"A large part of that responsibility will be to show the people of Northern Ireland how devolution is working for them," he said.

"It is important we don't let the wreckers to turn down the devolved structures."

The Assembly will be recalled next week to complete financial business it failed to finish ahead of its summer recess.
