Cyclist injured in south Belfast crash

A 19-year-old cyclist suffered head injuries and was taken to hospital following a crash in south Belfast.

The incident happened just before 11pm on Friday on Balmoral Avenue.

Police said the man was taken to a nearby hospital, however, his injuries were described as not life-threatening.

The road was closed for a period following the incident, however, it has since been reopened to traffic.

Get well soon ! Motorists have to wise up and realise there not the only ones who have right of way on the roads ! Slow down and give clearance ad you would a car !
