Crews deal with fire at city centre shop

Fire crews have dealt with a small fire at a dry cleaners in Belfast city centre.

The blaze started in a tumble dryer at the back of the building at the Queen Street junction with Castle Street at around 8pm on Wednesday.Four fire engines were called to the scene. Firefighters used cutting equipment to get into the shop, which was unoccupied at the time.Only minor damage was caused and it's believed the fire was accidental.Two neighbouring premises, a butchers and a shop-mobility shop, were also investigated after becoming smoke-logged due to the fire. The incident was dealt with by 10.30pm.
