Police have launched an investigation after a Belfast couple were held at knife point during an aggravated burglary.

Four masked men, one armed with a knife, entered the Cavendish Street house in the west of the city at around 9pm on Monday.

They searched the house before making off with cash and a mobile phone.

A man and a woman, aged in their 20s, in the house at the time were not injured in the incident, police said.

Detectives are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
