Three men have been arrested after thousands of counterfeit DVDs were seized by police probing organised crime here.
The items were recovered during a series of planned searches in Belfast, counties Antrim and Down on Sunday.
A factory producing the counterfeit goods was uncovered in Downpatrick.
Police described the factory in the Toye area of Downpatrick as 'substantial'.
Premises in the West Winds estate in Newtownards and the Ravenhill Road in Belfast were searched.
The suspects are aged 32, 36 and 41.
Police said the swoop was carried out by their organised crime branch and disrupted the manufacture, sale and distribution of counterfeit goods in the busy run-up to Christmas.
