Collar bone 'broken' in Belfast beating

A man has suffered a suspected broken collar bone, fractured jaw and other injuries to the head after he was beaten by two men in west Belfast.

The 37-year-old was attacked on Albert Street in the early hours of Saturday.
Police said he had to be treated in hospital for his injuries, which also included a fractured eye socket, fractured cheek bone and bruising to his body.
The assault happened at about 6.45am. Anyone who saw it or who has further information has been asked to contact Grosvenor Road Police Station on 0845 600.
