Co Down crash amid ice warning

Two vehicles have collided in Banbridge, as the Met Office warns of icy patches due to the drop in temperature.

The Scarva Road was closed for a time following the crash, which happened on Monday morning.
A yellow weather warning issued for Monday began at 5am.
It was predicted that sub-zero temperatures combined with scattered rain showers may lead to icy patches on untreated roads and pavements.
The Met Office has also advised the public to take extra care and the cold weather could result in some disruption on the roads.
