The Garnerville Grove property was searched on Wednesday and cultivating equipment and other drugs paraphernalia also found.
A 47-year-old man arrested at the scene is helping police with their inquiries.
Commenting on the discovery Area Commander for East Belfast Chief Inspector Mark McEwan said:
"We remain totally committed to tackling the scourge of illegal drugs and we are working to disrupt the activities of those involved in their sale and supply, limit the amount of misery they are able to inflict on communities and ultimately by putting them behind bars.
"We will continue to address the issues of illegal drug use and supply with the support of the local community. I would like to thank all of the people who have worked with us to help us take drugs off the street and would ask the community to continue to bring us information so that we can take action."
