A man, woman and two children were indoors when the property at Glenbryn Gardens was targeted at around 1.15am on Thursday.

The 34-year-old father suffered a minor cut on the arm from flying glass. The mother, who is 32, and the children - a boy and girl aged 12 and five - were not hurt during the attack.

A spokesperson for the PSNI said: "It is believed that the man that fired the shot made off in a blue coloured car in the direction of Ardoyne Road."

Police have appealed for anyone with more information to get in touch.
