Charges after Belfast 'swords threat'

Police investigating reports of swords being wielded and threats being made to people in south Belfast have charged a man.

The incident happened in Rockland Street just after 3.30am on Saturday.
A 27-year-old man was arrested and later charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, making threats to kill, and two counts of common assault.
He is due to appear before Belfast Magistrate's Court on 14 July.
