Charge after boy stabbed in Enniskillen

Police investigating the stabbing of a 14-year-old boy in Enniskillen on Sunday have charged a 15-year-old boy.

The victim was with another boy in the Round O Jetty area of Co Fermanagh shortly before midnight, when he was approached and stabbed twice in the abdomen.
He was taken to hospital for treatment to wounds which are not life-threatening.
Police arrested a male youth in the Enniskillen area on Monday afternoon and have charged him with grievous bodily harm with intent, and possession of an offensive weapon with intent.
The 15-year-old is due to appear before Enniskillen Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
