A variety of items, including power tools, golf clubs, satellite navigation systems and money were stolen from 11 vehicles in the Grey Castle Manor, Glenview Heights and Marlborough Heights area on Tuesday.

Criminal damage was also caused to two vehicles.

Around 6am on Tuesday morning a number of the items were found by a member of the public in Glenview Avenue which are believed to have been some of the objects taken.

Police also believe the thefts could be linked to a burglary in Brentwood Park in the early hours of Tuesday.

Officers are carrying out a number of follow up enquiries in relation to the incidents and have appealed for information.
