The 19-year-old's grey Citroen C1 was parked in the Grosvenor Road area just before 12.15pm on Wednesday when a man grabbed her arm, pulled her out of the car and made off in it.

She was not injured in the incident.

The man is described as being about 26-years-old and was wearing a grey hooded top and tracksuit bottoms.

Police are appealing for anyone with any information on the car hijacking to contact them on the non-emergency number 101.
