Police have chased two cars which turned away from a Co Fermanagh checkpoint and drove off at speeds of over 130mph, narrowly avoiding road users and pedestrians.
Police have just released details of the border car chase which took place in the flood-hit Bellenaleck area on Thursday morning.
Shortly before 11am, police said a black Honda Type R Civic and a Blue BMW turned away from a checkpoint at Derrylin Road.
A car chase ensued as police pursued the two cars towards Derrylin at speeds of over 130mph.
Police said the fleeing cars narrowly avoided other road users, some of whom were forced onto the road verges, and drove through flooded areas at high speed.
Both cars went through the village of Derrylin before crossing the border at Aghalane.
Police have appealed for information to help identify the occupants of the two cars.
Anyone with information about the drivers or keepers of the cars is asked to contact police in Enniskillen.
