A member of staff at a church hall in north Belfast has been robbed by a teenager armed with a knife.

The incident happened at the hall on Townsend Street on Monday morning.

A woman in her 50s was left shocked after the intruder made off with her car keys, a sum of money and other items.

He then stole the woman's black Volkswagen Golf.

It was found burnt out in the Springfield Road area of west Belfast at around 10.15am.

The robber is described as wearing a navy and grey checked hooded top and grey tracksuit bottoms.

Anyone with any information about the robbery is asked to contact the police.
