Police believe a rear window was smashed with a concrete block and the vehicle was set alight shortly after 4.30am on Tuesday.
Fire crews dealt with the incident in Drumalane Park.
It has been condemned by Sinn Féin MLA Mickey Brady.
"The inside of the vehicle is completely gutted and the car is a write off," he said.
"It appears that the culprits threw a concrete block through his car window before setting the car alight in the early hours of this morning.
"There does not appear to be any motive or reasoning behind this attack. It would be useful if those responsible would come forward and let us all know what they hoped to achieve by this arson attack."
Anyone with more information has been asked to contact the PSNI.
