Body recovered in Co Antrim search

Police searching for missing Ballycarry man Stephen Buchanan have recovered a body.

The 56-year-old was last seen on Main Street in Carrickfergus on 21 September.

A PSNI spokesman said a body was found in the upper reservoir on the Woodburn Road in the Co Antrim town on Saturday evening.

Investigations to confirm identity are continuing and a post-mortem examination is to be carried out.
