Body recovered from sea is identified

Gardaí have identified a man whose body was recovered from the sea in north Dublin.

Investigating officers issued an appeal for help in identifying the remains which were recovered by the coastguard at Dollymount Beach, Clontarf on Wednesday at 1pm.
The man was aged between 20 and 30 years, 6ft 1in tall and of average build. He had short dark hair, hazel eyes, distinguishable eyebrows and a well groomed appearance.
Gardaí have thanked the public for their assistance.
