Former American president Bill Clinton is planning to return to Belfast next month.
A brief visit has been organised in advance of a major economic summit on Northern Ireland in Washington DC on 19 October.
It is being organised by Mr Clinton's office and Declan Kelly, the US economic envoy to Northern Ireland.
Mr Clinton was heavily involved in the peace process, especially in the run-up to the signing of the 1998 Good Friday Agreement.
He first visited Belfast in December 1995.
He met the Northern Ireland First Minister Peter Robinson and deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness in Washington earlier this year.
Details of his Northern Ireland visit will be released later.
