Police were called to Westrock Park on Saturday afternoon after a suspicious object was found.

A number of homes were evacuated while the army bomb squad investigated the scene. They later declared the object to be an elaborate hoax.

Police said all residents have now been allowed to return.

Anyone who has more information on this incident has been asked to contact the PSNI by dialling the new non-emergency number 101.
