The DANI Awards, organised by Tyrone-based DANI, a leading organisation helping companies do better business online, will recognise the excellence of companies and individuals in the digital media sector in the province.
There are a total of ten categories and a judge's outstanding achievement accolade, given to an individual who has contributed to and advanced the growth of digital media. 2011's recipient was Russell Moore of Think RLA.
Managing Director of DANI, Naomh McElhatton commented: "We have been responsive to the explosive growth in the UK online market, recognising the power of the Internet.
"Last year's inaugural awards were the first of its kind in Northern Ireland and we are looking forward to seeing how the advancement of technology has been implemented to create business success."
The awards are supported by Invest Northern Ireland and University of Ulster.

The judges, drawn from various design, technology and marketing disciplines and will award categories across different categories including advertising campaigns, design, online, e-commerce and social media.
Entries for the ten categories can be submitted online with the winners being announced at a black tie gala ball on 13 September at Titanic Belfast.
