Arrests over assault on Derry couple

Two people have been arrested in connection with an assault on a couple in their 60s in Londonderry.

They were assaulted in their home at Greenhaw Avenue on last Wednesday.
A 19-year-old and a juvenile were arrested on Sunday night charged with grievous bodily harm, common assault and possession of an offensive weapon.
They are due to appear at Londonderry Magistrates' Court on Monday morning.
Police are appealing for witnesses and are urging anyone who may have been in the area to contact them at Strand Road.
