Arrests after cars vandalised

Two teenagers were arrested after a number of cars were vandalised in Strabane, Co. Tyrone.

Five cars parked at Eden Terrace and Waterwall were damaged on Saturday morning.

A 16-year-old boy appeared at a special court in Omagh charged with assault on police, attempted criminal damage and resisting arrest.

He was released on bailed to re-appear at Strabane Court.

A second 16-year-old boy was arrested for criminal damage, assaults on police, resisting arrest and disorderly behaviour.

He was also charged with criminal damage to a police cell.

He is due to appear at Strabane Court in March.
