Arrest over north Belfast robberies

A man has been arrested in relation to two armed robberies and two attempted armed robberies which were carried out in north Belfast on Tuesday.

An off licence and a shop were robbed while there was an attempt made to rob a restaurant and a shop all in the Crumlin Road area.

No-one was injured in any of the incidents.

The 29-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday morning and is assisting police with their enquiries.
