Two men aged 24 and 33 were shot as they sat in a car in the Eastway area of the Whitehill estate in Bangor at around 12.45am on 10 February.

At the time, security sources told UTV they believed the UVF were behind the murder attempt.

On Thursday morning, police conducted a search of a property in the estate and in the Kilcooley area.

A number of items were removed for examination and a man arrested.
