Woman freed over 1989 Portadown murder

A 76-year-old woman who was arrested in connection with the murder of Portadown teenager Caroline Graham has been released unconditionally.

The 19-year-old lived in Hanover Street with her boyfriend in the Co Armagh town and went missing in April 1989.Police believe she was murdered, however, her body has never been found.Over the past two years, police have appealed for information and carried out searches in the town.On Tuesday, police arrested the pensioner in Portadown in connection with their investigation.She was later freed without charge.
