A man has been arrested after a car crashed into a house in Londonderry.

It happened in the Cornshell Fields area of the city at about 6.45pm on Sunday.

Police said no-one was injured in the incident.

The 28-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of offences including dangerous driving and driving whilst unfit. He is currently helping the PSNI with their inquiries.

Damage to the house is due to be assessed by a housing association.
