Two men armed with a knife and a brick have robbed a shop in north Belfast.

Police received report of the incident which happened at around 7.45pm on Thursday when two men entered the store on the Crumlin Road and threatened a member of staff.

The pair escaped on foot with a sum of cash along the Crumlin Road.

One of the robbers is described as approximately 5'10" tall and was wearing a pale blue coat a blue jeans with a scarf over his face.

The second male was wearing a dark blue coat and jeans with a scarf covering his face.

Police have asked anyone who witnessed this incident or who has any information to contact them.
