Armed robbery at Whitehead store

A masked man armed with a gun has robbed a shop in Whitehead, Co Antrim.

He made off with a quantity of cigarettes from the convenience store on Edward Road on Saturday at around 9.20pm.
He is described as being in his 20s or 30s, approximately 5ft 6in tall, of slim build and was wearing a dark jacket, balaclava, gloves and jeans.
Police are appealing to anyone who has information about the robbery to contact them.
