Armed pair rob Bangor lorry driver

Two men armed with a gun and a hammer have robbed a lorry driver in Bangor.

It happened in the Clandeboye Road area at around 5.50pm on Thursday.
Police said the masked pair approached the driver and threatened him with the weapons.
They demanded cash and made off with a sum of money in the direction of town centre.
The driver was not hurt but has been left badly shaken.
Police said one of the thieves wore black balaclavas, black tops and black trousers. Anyone who witnessed the attack has been asked to get in touch.
