A 32-year-old man who was a passenger died in the one-vehicle crash on Friday 16 August on the Carryduff Road.
Police in the PSNI Collision Investigation Unit are appealing to the driver of a silver or gold VW Passat which had a taxi sign on the roof to contact them, as he may be able to assist them with their enquiries.
The driver of this vehicle, which has an English registration number, stopped at the scene of this incident at approximately 2am and provided assistance.
It is believed that he was coming from the direction of Ballynahinch and driving towards Belfast.
The 20-year-old male driver was arrested at the time and was released on police bail.
Police have also asked anyone else who may have information to contact them.
