A 23-year-old man was walking along Antrim Road when a dark coloured car pulled up alongside him at about 9pm on Saturday.

He was bundled into the car and taken to Crumlin where he managed to escape from the vehicle and raise the alarm.

The incident was reported to police at 10.15pm.

The car is thought to be a Vauxhall Vectra or a Volkswagen Passat.

It is believed there were four men onboard the vehicle.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to get in touch with them on the non-emergency number 101.
