Michael Devlin, 52 and from the Cabra area of the city, was last seen on Friday leaving work in the Rathfriland Road area at midnight.

He drives a red Citroen Berlingo van.

In a statement, police said that he could have driven the short distance over the border into the Republic.

The PSNI are appealing for Michael - or anyone who knows his whereabouts - to contact them or An Garda Síochána in Dundalk.
