A total of eight vehicles, six cars and two vans, were set alight in six reported incidents between 5 August and 5 September.
Two of the fires occurred in Burnthill Gardens, two in Queens Avenue and one in each of Pembrooke Mews and Church Way.
All the incidents were reported to police between 1am and 5am.
Police believe the same person or persons may be responsible and are appealing for the community's help in identifying them.
"Officers are carrying out additional patrols in these areas during the dark early morning hours and would also encourage local people to be vigilant and report anything out of the ordinary," a PSNI spokesperson said.
