On Sunday three masked men, one of whom was armed with a knife, robbed a sandwich shop in the Upper Lisburn road area at around 6.30pm.
Staff were uninjured but left badly shaken after the men escaped with a sum of money.
Police want to hear from anyone who may have noticed a small white car in the area.
Later in a separate incident, a sandwich shop was robbed in the Stranmillis Road area by a man armed with a gun.
The man, who appeared to have been disguised as a workman with a hat and high viz jacket, emptied the till and made off on foot.
There were no injuries reported in the incident.
Meanwhile a 26-year-old man was robbed in the University Avenue area at around 9.50pm.
He was taking a short cut through an alley way when two male suspects, who claimed to have a gun and a knife, threatened to stab him and made off with a sum of money from his wallet.
Anyone who may have information on any of these incidents is asked to contact PSNI.
