Alleged drug dealer remanded
An alleged high level cocaine dealer was remanded in custody on Saturday after police uncovered two and a half kilo's of the class A drug in his bedroom.

Standing in the dock of Belfast Magistrates Court, Ciaran O'Neill, 32, from Carlisle Square in north Belfast, was charged with having the cocaine and possessing it with intent to supply it to another.

The father-of-three, who is unemployed, was arrested on Friday evening.

A Detective Constable Maguire told the court that when police raided O'Neill's home they found ten "nine bars" of pressed cocaine in his bedroom, estimated to be worth around £150,000.

The officer said police also found a cocaine pressing machine in the kitchen along with self-sealing bags used to wrap the drugs.

Bail was refused.
