Alert near Coleraine 'nothing untoward'

A security alert between Coleraine and Garvagh in Co Londonderry has ended with "nothing untoward" being found.

Army bomb squad officers attended the scene at the Drumcroon Road on Sunday evening after a suspect object was reported.

Drumcroon Road was closed between Ardreagh Road and Greenhill Road while Gorran Road was closed at its junction with the Mettican Road.

The alert ended in the early hours of Monday morning.

There are no further details.
